Neumünster town hall - Sound system

The Stadthalle Neumünster is the cultural heart of the city and attracts numerous events such as theater performances, concerts and ballet every year. With 576 seats, it offers a perfect stage for a wide variety of events. In order to meet the increasing demands on the acoustics, the PROTONES team completely renovated the sound system in the Stadthalle Neumünster.

In summer 2023, the PROTONES team took over the modernization of the sound system together with RAUCH3. They integrated new components without changing the existing architecture. The PROTONES team wanted to create a flexible and future-proof solution that would meet both current and future requirements. They placed particular emphasis on high speech intelligibility and clear sound reproduction in all areas of the hall.

The installation included cable pulling, installation and termination of new offset boxes and, of course, the new sound reinforcement system from L-Acoustics, such as the X8 Delay speakers in the balcony area. The main sound reinforcement is provided by a powerful system consisting of two L-Acoustics A10 Focus and two L-Acoustics A10 Wide loudspeakers. The mobile frontfill system, consisting of six L-Acoustics 5XT loudspeakers, adapts flexibly to the respective stage configuration.

Thanks to the digital control and WLAN-capable technology, the user can quickly and easily adapt the sound system to different requirements. This flexibility makes it easier to work with the diverse productions in the Stadthalle Neumünster. Whether theater, concert or school performances - the new sound system guarantees an acoustic experience at the highest level for every event.
