The PROTONES team has been supporting the Fridays for Future demonstrations in Hamburg since 2019. We are honored to be part of this important movement. Sustainability and political commitment in the fight against climate change are deeply rooted in our corporate philosophy. We are proud to be able to contribute to the demonstrations and actions that are fighting for climate justice worldwide.
Over the years, the PROTONES team has repeatedly supported the Fridays for Future demos with state-of-the-art event technology. We always rely on creative solutions that meet the artistic demands of the numerous committed artists, such as Herbert Grönemeyer, Zoe Wees, Silbermond, Team Scheisse, Becks, Ami Warning, and many more , as well as the principles of the movement.
A key aspect of the technical implementation of the large-scale demonstrations for the PROTONES team is the sustainable and energy-efficient design of the events. We developed alternative solutions to replace diesel-powered generators. Since 2021, we have been using mobile batteries, the "Instagrid One Max", to supply loudspeaker delay lines with electricity. These batteries are charged from sustainable sources to reduce emissions. Since 2021, the main power supply has been provided by an S7 Ecobaze truck from Mobile Space, which relies on environmentally friendly technologies.
Despite this progress, the PROTONES team does not yet consider the journey to be complete. For us, sustainability is not a marketing term, but an ongoing process. Our aim is to further optimize our working methods and the selection of our materials in the coming years and to improve our carbon footprint.
It is a pleasure for the PROTONES team to be able to support the Fridays for Future team. Every event raises awareness of the issue of climate justice and offers hope for a better future.
