Georg Elser Hall.
The Georg Elser Halle in Hamburg St. Pauli is a modern multifunctional hall,
which is used for both sports and events. PROTONES was responsible for the complete planning and installation of the infrastructure, rigging, lighting and sound system.
One particular challenge was that the entire technology had to be mobile so that it could be set up flexibly at almost any point in the hall for different event scenarios. This required a well thought-out infrastructure and an optimal arrangement of the trusses and rigging to meet the diverse requirements.
The hall is part of a room-in-room concept that is specially designed to cause as little disturbance as possible to the surrounding hotel during events. Special precautions therefore had to be taken in terms of sound insulation and technical installation to ensure precise and unobtrusive sound reinforcement. This concept placed high demands on the rigging and the sound reinforcement technology to ensure that the sound spread in the hall in a controlled and targeted manner without affecting the surrounding areas.
Since the opening of the Georg Elser Halle on July 20, 2024, PROTONES has been in charge of the event technology on site and ensures that every event runs smoothly. PROTONES provides experienced operators for the lighting, sound and video technology as required. Our team ensures that every event receives the best possible technical support.
