Maritime Commissioning Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated commissioning technician (m/f/d) to join the PROTONES Maritime team and work on the integration of audio, lighting, video, and broadcast systems in new cruise ship construction.

That's your job

As a Commissioning Technician (m/f/d) for the maritime division of our installation department, you will be responsible for independently carrying out and implementing the tasks assigned to you at our construction sites, including preparatory and follow-up work. You will check materials and information for completeness during preparation and on-site, and implement our projects in a technically sound manner using state-of-the-art methods. In addition, you will oversee the implementation of projects and maintain regular contact with the
foremen.

Keeping your own workspace and the construction site tidy and clean is just as much a part of your job as supporting
the trainees and supervising other contractors. In your work, you take the initiative to ensure workplace safety, including the protection of equipment. When needed, you use your expertise to assist our specialist planners with the planning process

What you need to bring

  • A successfully completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering,
    event technology, or a comparable technical field
  • Knowledge of media, event, conference, and low-voltage technology
  • Technical and manual skills
  • Proficiency in using common Microsoft Office applications
  • Class B driver's license
  • A willingness to travel frequently and the ability to handle stress
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluency in German and confident communication skills in English
